I will never compromise on quality, so carry out a limited number of services each week and treat every bike as if it's my own.
Drop offs can be arranged at any time convenient to you, including early morning or evening.
You bike will be thoroughly inspected and serviced using the highest quality tools, oils and lubricants. I always ask your approval to proceed before carrying out any work not already discussed.
Collect your bike at a time convenient for you. I'll provide a detailed job sheet, explain the work done and share any advice regarding your bike's condition.
Get in touch to book your service. Your bike will thank you!
There's no such thing as a silly question! Give me a call if there's anything else I can answer.
Visits are welcome anytime but I can't guarantee I'll be in! It's best to make an appointment to visit and this could be anytime to suit you.
Finishing work at 9pm? No problem - call in on your way home. Starting work at 7am? I'll put the coffee on!
Details of standard service levels are above and these apply to most bikes. However in some cases, for example for old bikes, the cost of service and repair may be different. I'll be happy to advise when I see the bike and you approve all work before I begin.
Typically you'll bring your bike to me on the Monday of your booking (or dropped the weekend before if more convenient for you) and most bikes will be finished by Thursday that week. However the time needed depends on the nature of the work, the availability of parts and speed of postage for parts not available at my suppliers. Wherever possible I will advise you in advance if I think your bike will need longer.
I stand by the quality of my workmanship and guarantee all work carried out will be of the highest quality. If you encounter any issues immediately after your service or a repair, please let me know and I will put it right at no charge if related to the original work.
Yes please! It's impossible to service a bike if it's dirty, and a bike must be clean to work at its best. If a bike is too dirty to service or repair I'll usually have to charge to clean it for you.
Absolutely. However I will insist on showing you how to repair it yourself while you're here! Every cyclist should know how to fix a puncture.
Nope! I do sell frames and wheels from Winspace, but my passion is for bike building and servicing. There are plenty of excellent bike shops around if you want to browse bikes and accessories. I'm happy to share my unbiased opinion on anything you might be considering buying. (Chances are I've used it myself at some point.)
Things break at the worst times! I get it. I want to help and can sometimes offer an urgent service. This may incur a surcharge to fund overtime.
